Laughing hurts too much to do, but I *started* a comedy show that had me in stitches & is saved for later… when laughing doesn’t hurt.

In the interim, though? My kid liked seeing me smile.

That made me smile. Even if I can’t laugh.

Very sweet person gave me a card last night, tired to give me more, that said "Heaven is short one angel because she is working here!" And he was so worried he spelled my name right, and to tell me it is absolutely true. Such a sweet man. Also said he'll forget my name by the time I hit the door *which is quite all right) and yet never has and even pronounces it right.

nature finds a way. A bush I planted for my wife has decided that being a tree is better so it grew up tall under the eaves of the house. A branch was pruned, but the squared off nub was hitting the house, and the wind used it to poke through the screen on my attic vent. Today, I saw a pair of birds hauling food up into the vent hole, likely feeding their babies. They have a dry and semi-airconditioned place to raise their children because I am not going to climb a ladder just to ruin their day. I guess what I thought was the rustling sound of a tree/bush against my home was the new neighbors, 10 feet from my head where I sleep. Good night blimey birds.

Cats are so like kids......went out and come home and everything in the kitchen is on the floor and the miscreants are walking down the stairs from the bedroom yawning like they were asleep before I left the house.....Who Us? Tearing the house apart? No....look how sweet and innocent we are....

My MRIs were beautiful.

Which I have never heard, in my life. My MRIs light up like Christmas. Except? For my spine. Apparently.
