I wiggled a footstool in under my desk and now I cam sit at it cross legged.

Made shrimp and rice for my son. After I handed it to him he said, am I the only one that thinks shrimp smells like dead frog? I said concerned “do you not want it?”

He said no I do I love it haha

my labs. happily chasing tennis balls in the wet grass, running back with the tennis ball proudly displayed, heads and tails at full erect positions. Simple lives they lead, I gladly give them such a small amount of my worldly rewards, they give me everything they have. Happy tails, means so much. where is my tail today?

I love a good tart too.

But my pies?

Maybe they don't really count as a pie as they have no pastry bottom, just a thin shortcrust pastry on top. So i guess it's a bit of an upside down tart? And no sugar is added to the fruit either. I love it.

Went to a community fix it event. You can take a long something broken and they'll do their best to fix it, for free. I just love it. Took my daylight lamp. Use it for my art, it has the correct colour for daylight so colours look right. It still works but ever since I moved it keeps cutting out. They took a look and yes there's no solder left on the joint. They advised me to buy a part that costs £2, and bring it back. It woulda cost me £75 to buy a new lamp.

Anyway, I love people getting together to help each other out.

Thats how we should always do it!
And you have to know that the exact same lamp -if you could find it- would be prone to the same problem and could send you looking for a flashlight again! This way, the retailer does't just sell another of that model, you save money, the fix is better than the new one would be, win win win! Do you want the extra special bonus points? Will the wonderful people at this wonderful fair teach you how to fix it yourself?
Every broken thing is an opportunity to learn to fix. This made me smile, I wish there were more of these fairs world wide.
If I ran one I would be looking for young people that think this stuff is fun, cause it is, and we need more of them! In my lifetime I have saved more money fixing stuff than I earned in the first five years of my working life. Damn I wish I had spent the first five years learning to fix stuff...........
