Ovcharkas are beautiful! Big Russian guard dogs

I didn't know they are guard dogs. This one is an outgoing "people lover" who demands attestation.

the IMG didnt work.. but I leave the kibble on the floor.. she eventually will eat it...

I bought some red hot chicharrones the other night.. (think ummmm pork cracklings or pork skins) anyway she sneezed for 45 min afterwards lol... but came back for more, I wouldnt let her... salt and vinegar didnt work with her she spit them out of her mouth...

Ovcharkas are used as guard dogs in siberia or hunting bears and the like. While there is not a maximum size for these, ideally the dogs should not be any less than 100lbs. Congrats. If I had more property I'd get one.

Ekaterina (dog's name) will NOT be trained for guard work. She is very affectionate and focused on pleasing her people. The other female tried to push her around, but Ekaterina put and end to that behavior. No blood or injuries.

Her call name is "Kat"... my neighbors think I am nuts for having a Russki dog that is called cat.
