Undiagnosed Please Help Me

Hi just wondering if anyone can help me
I stumbled onto this site whilst looking for answers
I haven't been diagnosed with anything but I would really not like to see anyone either

I feel like I have periods where I don't feel emotions
For example a few days ago one of my best friends broke up with her boyfriend and was heartbroken, and while she was crying and hugging me I felt nothing, but other times I feel so full of emotion I could burst, Anger, Rage, happiness, sadness, excitement and so much more.

I really just want to stop this before it becomes more than I can handle
Please Help me
 
I agree with @EveHarrington Seems to me that you're feeling very overwhelmed by all this.

Even without a diagnosis, you do need some coping skills to help you manage symptoms when they come up. Even have things already in place for when you sense them coming on. There are lots of helps both here on the forum and online.
 
Firstly A diagnosis is just a label it is the symptoms you deal with that are the thing that needs addressing and many mental illness share symptoms. I have never been a fan of a label.

Secondly do not be afraid of seeing some one it is not a sign of weakness to get help and support in fact it is the opposite. it takes strength and courage to reach out for help and want to deal with your problems.

If your emotions are swinging from nothing to everything I would say that seeing someone would be useful many be some DBT therapy would be useful.
