i would post a link to this trusted source for unbiased and unapologetically presented researched and verified facts. they print retractions if they get it wrong.
Ah, I see. Here is where the divide starts. I get my news from other 'untrusted' but from the pov of lived experience (my own and others) and trustable (to me and many others) outlets. Generally they are not government funded news outlets. This is where the journalism element that was spoken about in the other thread pops its head out.
I am Canadian. Canada is a shit show. Canadians are fuming because their children cannot get jobs and are not being given a proper education because we are a 'melting pot'. You see, only Indians (from India) are able to work in Ontario these days. Maybe all across Canada but I only have experience with Ontario. Why are only Indians working? Because Canada is multi-cultural of course. And the story goes that white folk are a bunch of evil pieces of sheist who don't deserve to live.
Meanwhile, white Canadians can't get work - because nobody will hire evil white people here. Instead, they have lost their homes and are freezing to death on the streets or placed into 10x10 apartments if they are lucky. White Canadians who have workedto support the government all of their lives. The government has stolen most of their pensions - if they had any to start. 'Immigrants' are getting free housing and cars and businesses. 'Trusted sources' of media are absolutely not reporting on this situation.
You are assuming that a corporate or government sponsored news agency is reporting the news to you in a 'trustable' way. And as long as you believe this to be true you will be overwhelmingly enraged, with feelings of fear and hopelessness and be compelled to defy people who may be actually trying to make the situation better.
Respectfully, you can't see it because they are gaslighting their followers with fake stories to villanize their targets and get an massive emotional response from their followers. It's working like a charm. I suggest looking at more balanced sources of news - not just the
trusted source for unbiased and unapologetically presented researched and verified facts. they print retractions if they get it wrong.
I agree with
@anthony. What they are saying about Trump and the charges against him are not true. It was a manipulative storyline to get you to have contempt for him. I know this because I researched all sides. The pro Trump side and the against Trump side. But most likely they have filled you with so much contempt that you can't even listen to anything that comes even close to Trump not being the devil incarnate. Seems like their manipulation is working like a charm.
I strongly suggest you get a more rounded pov before the US takes on the characteristics of Canada. Through my experience, Canada is already a gonner. The US isn't yet. Because of Trump. He isn't all right - but he is working on it.
