I am feeling much better, so thanks for all the prayers, everyone. I am still experiencing back pain though. I don't know if it is related to the UTI or not. (Lower back pain). So you can pray for that to be alleviated, thanks.

Well, today I have a huge problem. I sent some pearls in the mail to my niece. The post office said that the package was insured, which I thought meant that she would have to sign for them, but when I traced the package on their website, I found out that they were delivered it yesterday and put it into her mailbox! I assume that means that she did not have to sign for them and that they could still be in that mailbox, since I have not heard from her! I sent her a text during lunch, but she has not replied., I don't dare call her since she works as a school teacher and would not be able to answer the phone. That package has some expensive jewelry in it too. I should have insured it for more, I think that she should have had to sign for it. Please pray that she receives the package, as well as another one that has a painting in it by my grandmother which is due to arrive there today! I wonder why she did not call me yesterday. I am worried! So, as it says in the Bible, pray instead of worrying, so that is what I have been doing. And placing this here, is part of that too.

I'd like to ask for prayer for my best friend: She's working like mad for her bachelor thesis. It has to be finished, sent for printing and sent to all course instructors within the next 2 hours... I sincerely ask for prayers that she may succeed. As no extension of time will be granted. It has to be finished, or she's out. And she worked so unbelievable hard for this goal. There were so many hurdles she had to overcome... And please could you pray for her health too? As all these years took a massive toll on her. She's on her way by train in a few minutes, to go to the printers' shop and then she has to reach the post office in time, to get it sent. It needs today's stamp on it... Oh, and the region, where she has to go, isn't a very safe one...

Great, my best friend got all those things done in time yesterday! May I ask again to pray for her viva voce that'll come up next Wednesday about her Bachelor thesis? She's really burnt out, but should still be able to internalize all those facts and results of her empirical study. Please pray for good concentration, strength, good sleep and that her optimism may come back. And...that I can keep my chatterbox shut, while she's studying...:shy:
