Pup, she's incrementally better, ate a tiny bit. What is so frightening is it can cause her to bleed to death internally, or have a critically low drop in blood pressure, and you can't tell from the outside, really. :(:cry: And they haven't really entirely even confirmed that's why yet. :(

Praying @Lionheart777 for M and C, and for you as you navigate it all, and praying for an easier time breathing as you taper @EveHarrington. I've been through a few bad side effects and tapers - it can be so rough.

My heart goes out to you @Junebug. I'm praying they are able to figure out what's wrong, for quick healing for your pup, and peace for your heart.

Thank you so much @Changing4Best and @Justmehere - though having barely eaten since tuesday night, vet today saw pup and said he feels she has turned the corner (it was HGE due to e.coli in his estimation after more tests), and she should be able to recover, and that if it had been 12 hours later she would have died. Her blood was so thick even now it took 3 separate tries to get enough of a sample to test. The antibiotics continue except 1, but the bloody diarrhea has stopped, and the one stopped he feels is causing the appetite interference and no longer necessary.

And (but) she did eat ice cream!!! :)

I forget if I asked for prayers for my friend who had a massive stroke. She is still in the H. doing physical therapy and "working my butt off" as she puts it, between workouts. She started out not being able to use one whole side of her body. I don't know how much she has improved now, but she seems to be doing much better mentally anyway! Please keep her in your prayers. Her name is Laura.
