Processing Possible False Memories?

Perpetrators cover their tracks and don't admit to stuff...so if you want a confession? Pictures? Another relative walking in on it?
That's really hard to come by.
If you can get circumstantial confirmation, that is often as good as it gets, I'm afraid.
