Oh don't get me started. :p TOO LATE! XD :D
I went to a child's clinic for five years, because of my anger issues-it was all a defense mechanism, but they thought I was antisocial, and the social worker is CRAP. Doesn't listen to my problems, answers the phone during sessions, yells at me, tells me to stop crying, has a personality which traumatizes me in therapy and then has a happy personality when with the psych. It's in the Scarborough area, only accepts people from Whitby, Ajax, Scarborough. I DON'T RECOMMEND it. The wait times are LONG, and when you turn 19, you're kicked out and referred to a walk-in clinic. I sooo need an ACTUAL trauma therapist, and I don't think that there are many around. I've ALMOST aged out of the other place thank goodness!
I'm going to go to the Canadian Hearing Society, and I sure do hope they have someone who can deal with trauma. They were REALLY good when I first met them before I knew I was traumatized, I just though it was depression. Anyway, the drawback to that place is that you have to be hard of hearing. Not much help if you're hearing is perfect. >:
