Has anyone has a problem with their doctor assuming all physical symptoms are linked to your PTSD/Anxiety/Depression?

All of my official doctors.

Down to 'I told you, that diagnosis is something anyone with a WebMD can do, and treatment courses are simple, I just need you to write me the Rx'. Still no dice. 'Mysterious illness' & 'Nothing wrong'. :wtf::banghead::banghead:

Hang in there, don't disclose if possible, & play dumb and insistent, if it's what's gets you treatment.

I have just been recently diagnosed with PTSD, yet I too have distrust in doctors. I was seen my an ER doctor who had terrible Bedside manners and basically told me I'm fine and to go see a counselor. He took a CT scan since I feel my brain physically hurting, but it was "fine". I also have had a pain in my chest for 2 months and was seen by a cardiologist. It turned out to be an irregular heart beat and I'll be ok. It the past month I've seen 3 different doctors who all told me I was fine even though I'm constantly dizzy and have pulsing, painful sensations in my head. I feel as if no one believes me and I'm making it all up.

I can totally relate to you. I've read some other posts about similar things which relieves my thought of dying. At moments every day I find myself thinking about my funeral and how could I die so young. I think I'll eventually stop going to specialist, but for now I'm on "fight" mode and ruling everything out. Again, I'm brand new to this diagnosis so I'm still trying to understand it. I hope we can both find peace and we will live long, healthy lives.
