Registered Therapy Animals

I really want a furry friend to register as a therapy dog. With how busy my life is, I can't right now, but I plan to once I'm done school.

Does anyone here find animals very therapeutic?

There's several threads about animals on here. I have two cats who stay with me most days that I struggle- literally on me. I want a therapy dog, but I know I cannot afford one right now and am sure that's the best thing for my life as a whole. But I would love to have a dog to take out places.

I have a fish tank and another fish bowl with my beta fish in it. It is very calming to watch fish as they swim around and associate with one another. I enjoy my fish and they are inexpensive pets that don't require veternarian care, which is out of my price range!

I actually have a prescribed therapy rabbit, he's small enough and very relaxed because I've exposed him to a lot of situations when I first got him. I've worked with rabbits for fifteen years or so, and I love it. My rabbit helps me immensely, especially at work.

I have rabbits too, and their presence alone is extremely helpful to me.
