Reporting suspected crime/danger

I'm thankful these other people know what he's actually doing wrong so they can report it vs my general suspicions.

I understand it might not go perfectly to plan but I need to hope that they can do something today or we can keep her safe and away until they can.

If he's a felon then that means he's probably out on probation - which means they can send his ass right back to jail! Revoking a probation is way easier than trying to get him re-arrested and just the info you have so far is enough for local pd to take to his probation officer.

The safety plan is super important, so I'm really happy you are already working on that!

How did it go?
Thank you for asking. Lunch got messed up. I asked if the call is still being made they said yes. (Kinda upset I feel in the dark)

Y is the woman with the man.
C, her husband, and T are the ones making the call.

My brains feeling fried right now but I'm calling C today because Y keeps asking to see me and I don't know what's going on.

I'm really upset about this situation. I haven't heard anything and of course I haven't been to see Y. She has texted me a few times.

I can't even think of what could be going on. I know he hasn't been arrested. Im inclined to drop them because this is crappy and too stressful to know that it's unsolved. Then I'm thinking should I call. Wth. I dont need more stuff to do right now.

Just venting I guess.

One of the hardest things about dv relationships is that many times even though they want to get out they refuse to actually do whats necessary to get out. Not a blame thing...just a many complicated reasons thing.

You can't save her until she is ready to be saved. And even then she has to be the one to do it. All you can do is point her in the right direction

For me friends in dv relationships are a deal breaker because I can't handle the drama that comes with them.
Does that make me a bad friend?
Nope.
It makes me a friend who knows her own boundaries and chooses to honor them

Me, too. I don't get involved more than a discussion with the person, because 9 1/2 times out of 10, they aren't going to leave. I fully believe in personal responsibility in these cases, although I know things can be complicated.
