Had him checked and he is fine, seems he is just a typical energetic 6 year old. Though we do know he is dyslexic, but this does not seem to make any difference to him.

Thanks for all the support and advice about my grandson, but this is more about how my husband cannot cope with his energy.

I can cope OK with it all, it's just hubby who struggles.

I owe you an apology for steering your post off the topic of your hubby. I knew that was your focus, but neglected to elaborate in my posts my thinking that if your hubby was willing to provide some real attention to your grandson and his interests that doing so might benefit your grandson while at the same time help your hubby get out of his "hole", be more present to the here and now (which includes interaction with fam), and receive some satisfaction in doing so . . .

That was a long run on sentence. I'm not sure if it made sense. Again, apologies for getting off topic.
