It has been 2 months or so since I have had internet at home. During that time so much has happened. A good friend died. I'm in a bad money crunch this month. I've met some new friends and joined their Overeaters Anonymous group. Life has had many challenges for me lately, and trying to be online by way of the local Library when one has no means of transportation is a drag. I got caught outside in the rain and wind several times on my way home from the Library. Two umbrellas got all busted up. I won't even bother to buy another one, as they are useless here in the mountains where rain means wind and you might as well just get wet already if it is raining. I used to have a rain poncho, but it got all torn up one day. I have to buy another one, but right now I don't have the money to buy ANYTHING other than food and meds.

None the less, I am delighted to be back online and with all of you. I have missed you so.

I am sorry for the loss of your friend and going without the internet for so long and the struggles you are going through and I am glad for any good thing that is happening in your life right now.

I just spoke to my sister on the phone and asked her if she could send me some money. I explained that the internet installation cost me $100 that I had no idea I was to be charged. I explained that I might not have enough $$$ for food and my meds this month if she could not help me. She said she would speak to her husband about it. I have no way of knowing what he will decide. I don't know him that well. They have been married for over 40 years, but he and I have never really gotten to know one another.

Please pray for me, that I make it through the month and especially that I will have enough for my meds and to see my Dr.s. I went to the Food Bank, so at least I should be alright concerning food. I hope so at least, though I may not have as many fresh produce items as I am used to.

Thanks. I will ask my church for help this morning. Maybe they can help me with a grocery gift card or something....
