I hate the "d" word (diet!) so I'm using the term healthy eating instead.
I really struggle with eating well this time of year. I lost almost 25 pounds at the end if summer and have gained back 1/3 of it already. I belong to a dieting website but feel a bit like an outsider as my eating issues are trauma linked and I don't feel comfortable discussing them there with people who may not understand.
So anyway, tomorrow I start working on my healthy eating goal. I've been gluten free for a month or so, but I am struggling with my corn sensitivity as corn isn't mandated to be identified on labels as "corn" unlike the top 8 allergens (wheat, soy, peanuts, eggs, milk, etc). Last night I ate something with hidden corn in it and today I woke up with painful skin issues. Ugh. So back to my detox diet I go!
