Firstly thanks, and secondly ... thanks again.

Jestadud, that taking longer to respond is something I know I need to work on as is the being easier on myself and slowing down. Thanks for the reminders there and for everything you said.

Reclusive, I like what you said. It puts those little things more in perspective when I start thinking that its also the little things that make the difference in bringing comfort as well :) That's so true for me also as far as often coping with big things more easily than with little things; weird how it happens, and yet it does.

Jeeps for now, you raised something I heard recently as far as neutral. Seems it is much easier to be taken to extremes very quickly rather than taking something as neutral and moving on from there. Thanks for replying!

Anni, I don't think what you added would have sounded trite; what you said about not being alone really does help.

Deb, the camels back was the imagine I had in my mind when I was writing also. Nice if I (and all of us) could unpack a bit more of the sack on the camels back so that it didn't break so very quickly and frequently. I appreciate what you said about how you are becoming more aware of what creates the avalanche; and hopefully doing that makes it easier to slow it (even if we can't stop it totally always).

KP, thanks :) I like the image of linking arms and what you said about breathing. I don't usually give myself that time or space, and haven't been letting myself "ground", which I know contributes to the cycle.

Ted, that being out of line with the current situation is one thing that always gets me as being hard to understand and deal with. I understand the reasoning behind it, but definitely something I want to keep working on changing. Your comments on permission and monitoring are helpful, thanks.

Yes probably. I do talk about me a lot.:p My PTSD has a lot to do with me so I talk about me a lot. ;) I probably do. What works for me may not work for you though. I hope you find things that work for you.
