Congratulations Trinomial! This is great to hear!

I believe that we are at just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to understanding Neuroscience, so you really have chosen a career that will grow and become more important to our daily life.

I am an architect intern and I have been reading about how some architecture schools are adding Neuroscience classes to help arch students understand the latest research of how the mind experiences space.

For example, one study revealed that people may be more creative in rooms with higher ceilings by asking them to write about a subject like tennis in 8' high rooms and 10' high rooms. The people in the 8' rooms wrote about the rigidity of the sport and about the rules. The people in the 10' rooms wrote about the joy of the game and how they felt free when they played. There are a few more studies like this that I found on the website Science Times.

Anyway, congrats! That is quite an accomplishment. I admire you for not giving up.

Neuroscience is definately a cool field. My main interest is perception. I want to understand how our perception effects the results--whether it is how a person sees something at a dig-site, how a forensic scientist sees the evidence, how a psychologist determines how to treat their client, or how physicists interpret test results. I think understanding perception is vital to any and all fields.

I hope to work with people from many disciplines along the way.

Thank you everyone for the encouragement.

Classes being in January, and I'll be sure to give an update. I am looking forward to it!
