This Hasn't Happened To Me Before... Yikes.

Thanks Ned,

One of the positive things about getting on a bit is that if you're lucky you start to see things and experiences in a different light. I consider myself most fortunate in that respect. Like always, you wish you knew these things ages ago but it just doesn't work like that.

It's also great to learn that you're never too old to be continuing your education. Especially where it comes to making your own life better for you. When you do that it makes it better for everyone. I believe that's a paraphrase from something that the Sarg said as well.

Hey Fubar, who mentioned in another thread that you have been off your, or off some of your medication. Without a doubt, I reckon you are not quite ready. Go see someone before it spirals out of control and you do something you don't want to.
Well, as it turns out, you were actually right after all. Now that I've been back on meds for only a week, and my anxiety/adrenaline level has gone way down, I've noticed a huge change in my whole attitude. Before my adrenaline was so high I guess I was basically in combat mode - hostile, unfriendly, suspicious, jumpy... I didn't want to talk to anyone, meet anyone new, or interact at all, and I was extremely irritable. Now, I'm friendly, smiling, and talkative again, things are going well with the new guy, and I'm much nicer to be around, and I'm not regarding the world with such a feral attitude, so I'm not as hypervigilant and I'm able to talk myself down from triggers easier and in general just remain calmer. That plus the fact that I feel like I can breathe again without the 24/7 panic attacks makes me really glad I went back on meds.

FUBAR, its a common problem we all experience. We can't see anything wrong with us yet the whole world does. I have gone off my meds before and the people at the PTSD unit called me in as they noticed a skitzo change to me.
I also have a good Nam Fart mate who goes off his every now and then. After a few weeks with everyone telling him to f*ck off he see's the light. So I was suggesting to you out of experience mate.

Glad you saw the light and it has worked.
