Not that I know of. I spoke to my counsellor and she said if their other children had witnessed it, then she would be obliged to called Child Services. Unfortunately I think my mother saying something to him will drive it underground. I have made a promise to myself that if my friend reports one more thing, I will call the police/TIPS hotline. It is second hand and my friend does not want trouble wtih the police, so I will have to mention everything I know about his history of mental illness and abuse. I have called Children's Services previously and he threatened to sue me, my parents disowned me for a year, (and I likewise) and he called me a c--- and threatened me physically, he has the worst temper I've ever seen. My parents are just as bad, they care more about not rocking the boat then my niece's safety, but anyway as I said I'm across the country and my brother does not have my address or phone number.
