I actually prefer league as IMHO there is more action.
I agree KP, lots more action and much more fun than Union! A very 'Northern' game (Northern England).
Is this what you are talking about?
It is indeed Nicolette. I the olden days the House of York (white rose - Yorkshire) fought the House of Lancaster (Lancashire - red rose) . They were both Royal houses and fought for the right to be king. Eventually a young Lancastrian, Henry Tudor(Henry 7th), beat Richard the 3rd, married Elizabeth of York to unite the two houses. They merged the two roses into the red and white Tudor rose.
Now it's a standing joke between Lancashire and Yorkshire people. Warrington was originally half in Cheshire (the south side) and half in Lancashire (the north side). I was born in the Lancashire side but Maggie Thatcher moved the border and put all of Warrington under Cheshire! The stadium was in the North side (above the river Mersey) so I still see it as Lancashire. Now, just to confuse things, Warrington isn't really in any county, it runs its own affairs and Cheshire was disbanded and is now East and West Cheshire. Though most people still refer to Warrington as being in Cheshire there is a band of us that absolutely refuse to agree and still call ourselves Lancashire. As I live so close to Lancashire I deem myself to still be Lancastrian as that is how I was born!

Oh my, got to save that photo! :hilarious: You girls crack me up!
Battle commences this afternoon with coverage starting at 2pm BST. I do have the feeling that it will be Leeds year but I will support my team to the death - which is quite likely in a rough and tumble game like Rugby League!!! :D
Good luck Leeds - Come on you Wolves!
