Hey there. I'm going to college in California right now but Washington is where I'm from originally and I still go up there and stay with my mom for summer and holidays. At the moment I'm only able to access therapy through my university and the Wellness Center they have. They're the ones who have helped me to truly make real progress in my recovery. However it would be nice to have some dependable resources in the Evergreen state during the times I do need to go back there.

I'm from here, Puget Sound region. Hate the rain. I'd like to hear about resources. I've looked for local groups, but I can't drive to Seattle and nothing in the North Sound so far.

Terrified of meeting people from the net, so that's out.

Hello. I'm new here and interested in meeting others from Washington state who understand the challenges of living with ptsd. I am also hoping to put together a common interest outdoor (reprieve) group for those who enjoy camping, fishing, getting back to basics and forming new friendships. Theres some support around here, being that Nas Whidbey Naval base is right here, but mostly just in the way of counseling, I think most people in the military keep to themselves around here that have this.

Hi Game Reign. Would you know of a cohesive environment that a gal with ptsd (myself) could rent an affordable room for me and my beloved kitty? After 4 years in this small apartment complex and a neighbor from h*ll, that's not a conducive environment for someone with ptsd to be in. Management has basically looked the other way so it's time for me to seek out a better environment where a person can heal, thrive and just 'be'. I'm in western washington not too far from your location. If you'd like to know more about me, please read my intro. I'd appreciate any suggestions or advice. Thank you.
