What Are You Grateful For Today?

...Pain is GONE!!!! Yay!
Am grateful for dear friends who know me, love me, and encourage me.
Am grateful for my sweet, funny, ~ugly~ little dog...he has the softest tummy and endearing brown eyes.
Am grateful that there is hope for a better way of living life.

In between falling apart here my husband and I have been trying to look at ways to make things I experienced give meaning in what I can do with the rest of my life.

Today I felt amazingly heard in this quest. I am hoping next week gives me some greater perspective and focus on this

The sun shining through my window, and for the light and warmth and feeling of peace it brings.

Got body memories today so I'm grateful for having plenty of pillows to hug.

Today was a serious trigger day for me. My husband a friend and a newer friend who is very lovely and I went to a pub and played cards against humanity so I would laugh and laugh. Because everyone’s eyes were watering with tears it didn’t matter so much when I cried and we laughed and cried all evening.

It was better than my plan of trying to drug myself to sleep through it

I am grateful for growing awareness of my eating patterns.
That I am still alive.
That my brothers and sisters are still alive.
That it is possible for me to have a life.

Springtime, warmth, flowers, fresh air, sunshine, food and drink, shelter, clothing, healthcare, hearing, eyesight, the ability to communicate, mobility, friends, family, love, support, and compassion.

I am grateful for small progresses!

For chickens. Oh, I've said that before.
For my dogs, hmm, said that too.
For being able to give food to people who need it when I am so poor.
Gardens.
Flowers.
Sunrise.
A home.
