What Are You Grateful For Today?

I am grateful for my care provider, Vanessa. She makes me laugh, and drove me to my chiropractor today.
I am so very grateful for the thread I started "one word poems"... well here, I have read some of the most profound remarkable pieces in my life. So filled with passion, anguish hope, beauty, all wrapped up in metaphor and images that just go straight to the core. It inspires me more than I can say. You guys touch me with your artistry, will to live, survive -and BE. You touch me with your anger, your pain, your struggles, your strengths, your humor and by far and away - the wisdom that comes with it. For this I am humbled with gratitude. I am grateful for the moments when I see that who I am and where I am is OK no matter what. Warts and all.

Back in touch with my brother again, on a level playing field. We told each other we loved each other. He came as close to an apology as he could get and is having some pretty heavy stress reactions... I told him I understand completely.

I have had a summer plan to cook myself once a week, I'm falling behind a bit but this is the fourth meal i did cook this summer and I have to come to the terms that I really slowly getting my cooking back to me!
It's one of things I have lost completely due to home situation and it's tremendously hard to get it back.

But I am working on it:inlove::D:p

Grateful for a nice backyard to sit in. Grateful for good friends in my life these days especially. Grateful for all of the connections that are made each day. Grateful for all of the good things in my life today. Grateful that I survived my parents, and escaped them.

Reuniting with my bio mom,I was given up for adoption after I was born.It felt very good reuniting with her and understanding why she did it.Mom was 15 at the time when she gave birth to me,was not ready and wanted to see a better life for me.It was emotional and tearful going through a box of tissues.Plus she thanked me for my military service in the Marines.Said my bio dad is around somewhere and the search for him is next.
