Stocked my latest hoop creations yesterday....and they sold one already. Hot damn!!! It isn't often that my innate fear of making something that I convince myself no one is ever going to want gets squashed in my brain, but I'm super grateful for the moments that squash the f out of it and remind me that what I invest my time in is actually valued by someone, somewhere, eventually...mpst especially when I make time to value myself in the process. Aha, grasshoopa.....hoop on. lol

For my ability to step back and try to use my wise or logical mind.
For the amount of recovery I managed to get to for previous ED's and self harm. They added suffering to suffering whilst hiding behind lies.
That managed to develop people skills and can relate well to most others in RL.
That self hatred is now occasionally a moderate flame rather than a raging world engulfing fire.
That my pain levels are decreased today.
I am grateful for the existence of kindness in the world whenever it occurs.

I am grateful for my dog who is always near me
I am grateful for friends who check in on me
I am grateful for my cats who seem to know when I need comfort

My friends who invited me for supper and another person who will be giving me a ride there, because my friends' car broke down yesterday! We can make plans, but that does not mean they work out exactly as planned, none the less things seem to work out one way or another, for which I am especially grateful!

Grateful I have lived long enough to see another grandbaby enter this world.. he's not here yet, but any time now... Grateful my stepson still calls me Mom, and that my daughter in law is so full of love and joy. This baby is coming into a loving home. A lot on my gratitude list today.
