@8888 Here in the US, rather than getting out and shopping, you can order your groceries from an app on your phone then drive to the grocery store you've ordered from, and they will bring the order out to your car. It has been great for those of us with social anxiety and the pandemic.

Grateful I kept the greeting cards my mom had stashed over the years. She loved sending cards to folks for damn near every occasion. Mostly blank ones and "thinking of you" varieties are the ones I saved - gave the others to her friends who like to send them, too.

Gonna fix some up to give to a local group who's collecting them to share at local nursing homes for the upcoming grandparents' day. May they feel the heart hug energies that will be in each one. I want to think of a way to honor the staff, too, in gratitude for all they do.

Today I'm grateful to my cats

Id be dead without them in my life, they give me a reason to try to hold on for a little while longer.

Also on a lighter note, I'm thankful for scented candles, and this delicious cup of green tea, the fact that I was able to take a shower today. I'm happy about the crisp late summer air, and I'm grateful that I have my life still, so I got to enjoy these things.

I'm grateful to this thread also, because I get out of my head a little, its nice because it forces me to think about good stuff.
