Found out I had to go to a fund raising event in the "affluent" town next door... rubbing elbows with my own biased perception (right neighbohood, right job, right car, right clothes, right purse, right shoes, right spa, right make up, right jewelry, right clothes...) messes me up. So I went to have breakfast with a friend/former coworker, who opened a restaurant, then took a soak in the spa after I took care of the pools, then a pedicure and 30 minutes in a massage chair. Home and facial... my secret weapon, coconut oil (pure)... sweating a bit cuz I didn't have time for the manicure... but I'm gutting up, and prepared to rub elbows with the shakers and the movers (I think). Trying to remember that the affluent are people too. Cross your fingers.
