What Have You Accomplished Lately?

I made a start on painting the living room today, still got a lot to do, but it's looks a lot fresher now.

I've finished it today, looks good well worth the effort, now that the whole house is done I will have to find something else to fill my days?

Lots of little things, like sending a nice card to a friend of mine who has breast cancer. The hospital is dragging their feet setting a date for her surgery, so I told her to call them every day and nag them so incessantly to do so, that they get tired of hearing from her and set the day. I hope she does as I suggested. I finished reading the book of Exodus in the Bible, as well as the book of Genesis and Colossians. I got my homework done every day for several days in a row, including today's.

I was in a shop and both employees were busy and put the items in the shelves. They didn't see my waiting to pay...I said a clear, loud and friendly "Excuse me"...and they noticed me and one of them came by and I could pay.

I have accomplished taking control of my problem drinking in the last few weeks. I still drink but only for pleasure. I have only had four beers in the past four days. I honestly can't remember the last time I got hammered which was almost an every day occurrence. *slaps self on the back* :D

I reserved a restaurant for my department's Christmas party and even asked about the possibility of a separated area for our group.

I had a chat with the person in the checkout today, that was a big step for me, and I'm well pleased with myself.

I am not accomplishing any thing at the mo. A bit disillusioned really .:(

Booked, and turned up to, my first ever yoga class.

100% attendance/on time on three standards in spite of car difficulties. I am keeping my nose above water and meeting or exceeding by average standards (90%) so far as work is concerned. Otherwise I haven't accomplished all that much.

Found me another job, well multitude of I'll keep trying if the one I want more won't work, and re-enrolled in both schools.

But to be honest I feel far more accomplished about personal things I've gotten together meantime and the way I supported fiance with his. And for the ability to still speak, kind of really need it to keep in the present moment instead of reaching to everyone as if in my past.

Finished my sister's Christmas present (I know it's early but I also have to do the one for my mother). ...it's a spider and a spiderweb as pot holders. I crocheted them all alone. *proud* (with some minor help from my best friend who is much better in handicraft...)
