What is i don't have ptsd

What if my nightmares are a mixture of stress and medication.

Gabapentin
weaning klonopin
Risperdal
Remeron

I think these meds combined can cause alot of unwanted nightmares. I'm just saying I was never traumatized by my dad. I just left when i was 17 and never looked back. I was a drug user/pusher so i know I've been able to screw up something when I had the psychosis.


Just something to think about.

It's absolutely possible that your nightmares are caused by things other than PTSD. It's also possible they are. Or by a combination of PTSD and other things.

If you believe you don't have PTSD at all, it would probably be good to discuss this with your therapist to look again at why you have been diagnosed with it and how you feel about the diagnosis.

Your question - 'what if I don't have PTSD?' - what would that mean to you?

I just want answers. Why as soon as I get on meds after a yr I started to have morbid dreams really when I'm in withdrawal. That's a clear indicator to me.
