What is your favorite thing about spring?

Okay so my life has been rather rough lately so I thought it would be good to think of something upbeat and positive.

So spring has sprung in the northern hemisphere this week so I thought I would ask what is/are your favorite thing(s) about spring?

For me I like the longer days, the warm and the sounds and smells of thunderstorms.

Flowers. Spring flowers like daffodils, tulips, and crocuses.

I love it when everything turns into a fresh green. Also love the smell and sound of rain:happy:

Bicycles, and the earthy smell of the leaf litter in the woods before all the green comes back.

Easter! Which means the end of lent! Which means I can eat chocolate again! LOL.

But seriously, what I love the most is the warmer weather, the longer days, and being outside.

The trees flowering, wildflowers, and usually being able to plant my gardens. NOT THIS YEAR. Dang you winter that won't end! Lol

Cheapest possible price, screaming deal, good for all of this year (or what’s left of it) AND next year.

Not that I’ve been able to do that in a few years.



ETA... I’m envious of all y’all with seasons. We have the same weather here from October to July.

Seeing and feeling so many things come back to life, having much more green and much less screen time, having more light to bring out the shadows needing more therapeutic attention, planting seeds that will grow into delicious and healthy nourishment that my body can healthily recognize and work with, foraging for already existing delicious and healthy nourishment already being provided free of charge by nature, preserving the flavors and medicinal properties of the ongoing abundance of the plants for future use, flowers start blooming and creating chances to make even more healing essences, more birds and other wildlife start visiting and making it an even more sacred space, and the warmth of each day eventually becomes more and more inviting, enticing me to venture out and get my daily dose of vitamin d directly from the source as I celebrate all living things while happily working my ass off being at peace and healing with nature.
