What Made You Happy Today?

Seeing how good my cooker looks today when I got home. Hubby arranged for it to be professionally cleaned for me.

The contractor came over today and fixed some things for me and it did not cost too much.

I was sent some flowers from some people in my church along with a card saying that they were thinking of me and although they didn't understand what I was going through that they wanted me to know that they are there for me.

I burst into tears when I read the card!! My husband was very worried that something had happened, I had to explain they were tears of happiness..

Hearing my youngest daughter laughing as she was watching a movie..

This made me smile .

I am escaping my parent's house and spending the night with my younger cousin and my aunt. I am very excited to spend time with them.

I had a shower and it lowered the anxiety for a moment.

That I wrote a grant for the art studio and they got it.

I am grateful for my daughter who is such a great friend to me. She found the address of some really good friends I have known for over twenty years that I lost contact with.

She was so happy and excited for me she wanted to come too. So we will go over there Saturday after next. They were a great influence on her while she was growing up.

I am so blessed with my small little family.

I went for a walk for an hour and a half.

I went out with a woman for some lunch.

I took dinner to a friend's place and we watched tv.

I am feeling Happy tonight. This is what I completed today.

I ate twice today. Tried the other time but could only eat a couple of mouthfuls.

Did 2 x 15 cleaning sessions.

Did some extended drawing whilst at my friend's house.

Walked an hour and a half. Walked into town.

Went out to two social situations, spent some hours with people.

Sat with my anxiety when I waited an hour for someone to turn up.

Texted and reached out to people.

Organised to get extra volunteer work.

Thought about how to get moving more and to do more.

Kept going and doing things despite the very high anxiety. This will normalise with lots of practice.

This is an significant improvement for me. I only slept three hours last night so it was really good of me to push through. I was also responsible there was an event I didn't want to go to but I decided I must. I contacted to go and it was cancelled. Spent very little time frozen, watching tv on the couch. Perhaps an hour.
