The Australian bush-

Not most people's image of it, I suppose. This is cattle country close to the Canberra Space Centre (Bullen), looking north-west to Pierce's Creek, in the ACT.
Wintertime, the air as clean-smelling and cool as you could wish for.

Just had one of my teenage customers in the shop.

He was on the bus yesterday afternoon sitting opposite an old German lady. At the back of the bus were the usual rabble. In this case mostly Turkish origin.

One of the Turks is telling another, "There are over 4 million Turks in Germany now and even more none Turkish Muslims, so that means Germany will be a Muslim country soon"

The old lady turns round as she is getting up to get of the bus. "We used to have 8 million jews aswell"

A german with a sense of humor, Classic.

That is cattle country, but the real bush mate is in the high country of New South Wales and the outback is the Kimberley region of Western Australia.
The great thing about the ACT is the laws are more flexible there because of all the politicians and you have Ski Slopes an hour out of town in the winter.
