Loved the pictures Oasis. Gotta' say I'm jealous of the grapefruit. It literally made my mouth water this morning. Dogs are just so much better, or maybe, easier to deal with.

After my 'incident' with my goofy neighbor I was thinking how lucky I am, and they are, that I'm not a vengeful person. I've never been that way, don't know why. Part of it may be that it's a slippery slope that once you start down it you can't stop. Sometimes what makes me happy is small victories and realizing them.

The one in Florida is light years better than the one in California. The sheer size alone makes it worth the trip. I used to live in the area as a kid and it became a dumping spot for my dad to unload us kids for a day. He did it quite a lot. That is going to be a very very expensive trip.

I've never been to the one in Florida, everyone tell me what you did Red. Been to the one in Cali, I thought it was pretty cool, I went there before the other was opened. Tells ya' how long ago that was. Hope to make the trip south someday. Hope you and the family do as well Lee.

Im not overly keen to go but ive put my family through so much lately, its my way of saying thank you. I dont drink or smoke, go out, nothing much so the money from my pension will pay for the trip. Its only money at the end of the day and i would rather see my children enjoy themselves than have it sat in a bank TBH

My son fixed the air-conditioner. (y) We went all last summer without it. It has been in the high 90's this last week or two. Last summer it was up to around 115, and spent probably over a month and a half over 100.

We were trying off and on to save up for a new one $$$$ but couldn't. We then lowered our goal and tried to save up to get the old one fixed $$$ but couldn't. Turns out it was a capacitor that helps the condenser start up that cost 25$.

It was miserable sitting, sweating through last summer. It really added to the stress cup.

Barb, this may sound weird, but you might try the VA. One hears of Vets with braces or wheelchair bound to have the VA pay for special access to cars and homes. I wonder if one could argue that if, as an isolationist, one should live in some comfort?

I assume you have a rating for PTSD. If so, do me and hopefully you and yours a favor and go over to WWW.Hadit.com and ask if such a thing would be possible. Also, I know for a fact that Vet Centers have special funds to be used for Veterans in need.

It would be worth a shot. No need to suffer like that.
