What would you choose?

A single day to myself? Familiar. Time to center myself. Recharge.
(Weeks, almost every day, by choice, would/will be something new!)

Feet in your chair with you, or on the floor/ottoman?

Even though I live in one of the hottest regions I love the searing, eye-blistering Summer sun. It helps me organize my thoughts and soak up the dark milky nights.

lawn clippings
Recently started drinking Sencha, which you know is everyday Japanese green tea. Steeped in not quite boiling water for only a minute, grass water is what it tastes like! 😋 Again, living in a dusty hot place, lawn clippings are kind of exotic and cleansing!

Mud bath or ice plunge?

Genmaicha. SO much better! The toasted rice totally alters the experience. The only time we ever drank sencha was during tea ceremonies, and it’s loathsome. The everyday inexpensive version tastes like grass, and the expensive (whisky expensive, $1000 dollar cups) version like forest loam. Tea ceremonies are a punishment to be endured. Where you leave feeling as if you’ve been thrashed in the woods, spitting out dirt.

The everyday sencha, however, is AMAZING added to lemonade. No idea why. It just works.

The trace minerals in all green tea? Make a body happy, even if the mouth is left spitting & gagging. As a hedonist I want both a happy mouth AND happy body. Whenever possible. Genmaicha or green tea lemonade.

Mud bath or ice plunge?
Ooooooh… give me an ice plunge! After a hot sauna.

Predator or prey? (Wolves, lions, sheep, deer, etc.)

Thanks for the tip! Trader Joe’s has an awesome green tea lemon drink I have yet to decently imitate.

Am trying to drink more green tea because it’s good for teeth (among other things). I heard that green tea is only bad when it’s brewed too hot or too long. Am being strict about timing and temps and so far so good. I really do like the grassy taste. I’ve had genmaicha and it does have a good toasty flavor.

There’s a tea house near my house run by an impossibly old Chinese woman that has real tea—the whiskey expensive kind. Anyway they have a tea that tastes like a forest floor and I adore it.

Predator or prey?
Hmmm… prey because their dumb widdle faces

Eat food without utensils (like a baby) or without hands (like a pie-eating contest)
