Today started out the worst, but later on my spirits have lifted and I am not so bad now.

After seeing the OT yesterday, he told me that I needed to have a phone with a speaker phone on it. Since I didn't have one, I went out and bought myself one today.

Part of my problem especially in my elbow is with the phone. Just too many years of competitive usage of answering the phone when I was working, has caught up with me.

It will be so nice to have this feature now and I just told myself it was an early Xmas present to myself.

I realize that I need to work on some trust issues involving therapist, doctors and such. I will think on my base root of fear and try to dislodge some warpy thinking. I always defended the value of therapy & self care by having medical attention...so I was surprised at this self-discovery.

I realized that getting to socialize with others in PTSD has allowed further reflection than in a "normie" setting of conversation per say & I am grateful to be able to sort out some stinkin' thinkin'.:spitdummy:

I have showered and I will pick up my son from school in a little bit. I am hoping he helps me pick out cat toys for the rescue we are donating to. That would make today even better.

I am feeling the closet to normal for me than I have all week. It is turning to the better days ahead now and I am so thankful that the powerful emotions have finally been dealt with and I can go on with my life.

That I was able to get my work done...I could finish a lot of small cases so I could finally start with a big one. I was avoiding the big case for weeks...

That my child's counselor said my son had good prospects for college and that he did quite a leap from freshmen grades to the grades he now gets. Also he is on the high honor roll. I'm very proud of him.

That I slept for six hours! I woke up at 4:30 and I was feeling awake and not like hit by a train.

Everything but humans.

Think about it, think of the entire Universe...there is no dysfunction anywhere.
Every thing is as it should be, completely natural.
The entire Universe(billions of light-years in size) is IN HARMONY.
All of it. Every galaxy, every solar system, every empty space.
The only species on this planet that is in or creates disequilibrium is HUMANS.

Pause for a moment, let it sink in.

Every organism on this planet exists in a constant state of FUNCTION!

Humans and ONLY humans live in a constant state of dysfunction.

We abuse each other, torture, rape, punch, bully, steal, mock, hate, deceive, punish, slander, cheat, hurt each other every single day.

It is madness, we are completely fvcking insane as a species!

and yet.....every other aspect of this glorious Universe is NOT.

everything else is as it should be....

the Universe is perfect...except for us
