What's Good About Today?

My daughter got food stamps which will help around here greatly. Also that my daughter is registering her youngest daughter in a new school today.

That I feel so darned happy and nothing is going on to traumatize me anymore. Peace reigns in my heart and soul now.

That the depression and guilt were kept at bay today. I'm thankful for that.

I got out on my own to do a starbucks run for my husband and myself. I even took the dogs with. This is a start.

A really good friend called me and wants to take me out for lunch today. So aha, there is my plan B. She said she missed me. I am so happy.

I took a walk with my dogs and husband. That's the most exercise I've gotten in a long time, even though it was a short walk. At least I got out!

It rained like crazy last night but not today. The sun comes out and then back behind the clouds. It is cold outside and I am all cozy inside the house.

That I am not stressing over a negative thing in my life today, but am enjoying this day as it is.

That I am having an awesome day. So much healing and growth has occurred in my life. I never thought I would ever be this happy. Until the next dark thing happens, I am going to enjoy it to the fullest.

What is so good about today is that it is a normal day. No drama what so ever at all.
