What's Good About Today?

Didn't get stung when I removed a wasp's nest from over the front door of a client's house. It was dicey but I acted like it was no big deal. No spray... that was challenging.

I unpacked my last box that I can. The rest will have to be stored in the garage.

The really good part is that I will have help in putting everything away and mabe even hang some things on the wall.

I am not giving toxic people rent free space in my head now. I feel so much better.

My neighbor no longer lives next door to me. I will just take it day by day to experience what it is going to feel like without her running for cover when she would see me. I wonder how I will feel when I realize that it truly has happened.

August 10th is a special day for me, has significance for me in so many ways, so now I will remember that she left the day before. I did celebrate with ice cream, I just had to.

I am feeling somewhat relaxed and less mentally strained. This is good about today.

My son applying for college yesterday. He was procrastinating and we got in some major fights over it. But he calmed down since our last fight and took it better when I brought it up. One less thing to worry about.

That I was honest and brave enough to tell my friends that I can't join them going to the theme park. I was looking forward to it, but I got a sick stomache yesterday and so I rather relax at home.

I got a great morning hug and love signs from my youngest granddaughter.

It has been one of those go with the flow days, which I like, staying inside where it is cool with the A/C runnining.

Laundry done, bills came which I was expecting, just sitting back and relaxing on a Saturday. Had my favorite Mexican meal and found some chocolate on sale. Doing better than I was last Saturday, so that is very good.
