Confession: Glitterkitty is ollllld screen name and I was terrified of the unknown the night i signed up for the forum I think that is the only reason I chose it. *blush* If I got to do it over again I would have Mermaid or Rebecca in the freaking name. lol. Rebecca 'cause that is me and Mermaid because I'm an awkward as can be land creature but in the water I have grace, freedom from pain, and I'm a wild spirit. :) edit: WildMermaid would be my new and more apt name. :)

My username is taken from one of my favourite songs, which I was listening to a lot when I created my account on this forum.

There are some lyrics in that song that resonated with me at that time, particularly: "Don't change your mind, you're wasting light, get in and let's GO!"

It's because my new relationship with my PTSD guy had gone pear-shaped, and he was pushing me away. I felt like saying to him "just make up your goddamn mind whether you want to be with me already! if you're in, then let's DO THIS!"

My avatar is an illustration of Odin's ravens Hugin and Munin, from Norse mythology. They were thought to be the physical manifestations of Odin's thoughts and desires, respectively. I feel like my thoughts and desires are often both wrestling for attention in my mind as I negotiate the tricky bits in my relationship.

heh Okay I promise to stop babbling in a sec... The new name is based off the person I am now. Also I play World of Warcraft and my favorite toon is Wildlotus, so I'm pretty used to being called "Wild" lol. ;) I can't walk more than a few steps any direction but swim often and with some grace. *happy*
