I love San Fran!
Fishermans Wharf, and Pier 39 ( I could spend hours observing the sealions). Union square for shopping. A ride on the cable cars, and also the cable car museum is very interesting (if you like that sort of thing - I did, LOL). A trip up coit tower is well worth it, if you enjoy panoramic city views. A trip over the golden gate bridge to Sausalito (? spelling), and maybe muir woods to see the redwoods, both worth a trip. The twists and turns of Lombard Street, china town, and a trip up to nob hill if you fancy seeing how the other half live in Mark Hopkins Hotel. If you can blag your way into Top of the Mark restaurant at afore mentioned hotel (which is what I did), or you are wealthy enough to enjoy top of the range dining, the views there are stunning.
