* Being a fan of wearing your trousers correctly, i.e. not hanging down well below where they should be, revealing plumbers cleavage or your underwear.

* Hyper colour t-shirts.

* Having a house with a toilet outside.

* Remember when Cabbage Patch Kids were cool the first time.

* Getting sunburnt and your parents weren't grilled about why you didn't have suncream on (and neither were you!)

* Ice cream vans and their delightful music.

If "tv dinners" came in aluminum tin foil containers to put in the oven because microwave ovens hadn't been invented yet. Oh, and Swanson's (at least here in the U.S.) was the basic brand of "tv dinners" you could find.

By the way, when I start to get down about getting older, I try to liken it like a tree: the most inspiring trees have the most rings. Every year, another ring, a wiser tree. (Just so all of us remember the beauty in age -- whatever age that might be, and whatever tree:happy:.)
