Sweet Pea, last year my sister and I found a phone booth out in the middle of no where. It didn't work, but she made me take pictures of her in it!

You might be a bit old school if you remember when Crayola started adding built-in sharpeners to it's 101 crayon box. (I've got dibs on the cornflower blue!)

Only having three channels on TV and after 11, they went off air!!!
PUSH buttons on your car radio and a rotary dial to tune.
Antennas on homes that had to be turned to tune in to different channels.
Avocado green bathroom fixtures and appliances were the fad. AND, they cost more money!
Class pictures were not retouched so if you had a booger, you just had a booger.
We had a milkman that delivered milk to us once a week.
A penny bought a piece of bubble gum.

You know you are old school when...
having a 'Party- line' phone that was shared by 3 families in the street.

I remember those. My grandmother's house had one. I remember being so surprised when I picked up to call and tell my parents I'd arrived back and to come and get me... I couldn't have been very old. I remember her quite clearly schooling me on "party line ettiquette".

Lord I remember our milk man too. Carnation milk and our milk and eggs were delivered to our door til I was about 6. My mother told me at around two years old after the hospital put me back on the bottle... that the milkman stole my bottles in a "horrible turn of events". And she says every delivery for 3 weeks I'd be sitting on the front porch waiting for him to give him the evil eye.

This is really dating me... but I remember playing a game with my grandfather to find the cheepest gasoline. He'd pick an amount and if I found it cheeper, he'd pay me the difference. He had a truck with an auxillary gas tank and a camper at the time... I remember finding gas for 26.9 cents a gallon as a youngster.

When I was 16 I worked for a Union 76 and our gas was 79.9 cents for premium in 1976.

I also remember when they came out with Unleaded.
