My long haired terrier mix has been getting a ton of mats from itching so much. No fleas so I'm assuming she has developed allergies like our older dog. She already looks scraggly without the mats. Still love her though.
My Jinnygirl used to love snow. She would bound out of the house when she saw snow and stuff her whole head into a snow bank...she would leave her head in the snow for a while and when she pulled her head out her whole face was covered in snow and she would have a big mound of snow on the top of her head. :p:laugh:
My mini-dachshund, Babygirl, greets all my guests with her song and dance routine. I tell them it is because she wants to get petted. Sure enough, when they do, she quiets right down.
Buddy does what I call her happy dance after getting fed, or I get up. I tell her she is such a silly girl. She rolls around, yips, shakes herself out. She always makes me laugh when she does this.
Babygirl does her "song and dance routine" whenever folks come to visit. She does this so they will pay attention to her and pet her I guess. She quiets down after they do so. She's a little love junkie!
Both of my dogs tap dance with Riverdance expertise when I tell them that we are going out for a walk. I've been walking them almost daily for the past 2.5 years and this week I had surgery on my foot so I haven't been walking them. I look forward to hearing their tap dancing when we start our walks again next week.
Lately, since I bought this Chaise couch, my Buddy has been laying at the end of the Chaise. I think she likes being by my feet and also having the ability to look out the window. Granted, that is where the covers are. I know she likes that.
I'm watching my dog try to get comfortable on the couch next to me. There are two blankets, one that I am using the other laying there for her disposal. She decided that mine is the better one and is trying to nudge it closer to her. Glad she likes the one I made.
Today Buddy cried and stared at me. I thought she wanted water. Instead, when I stood up, she ran to where her bed is. It is placed near a radiator. Apparently, she knocked her treat under the radiator and needed me to get it.
