Your Pet Did What!?!

Since Buddy is a little dog we use the old weights that were once used for garage doors, in order to tie her out. That way we can bring her anywhere we go and she is secured. However, she started dragging one around, so we added another one. Now she can drag both of them if she is really determined. Our vet is always amazed at how strong and muscular her back legs are!

I have some truly unique animals. One of my horses stands on 3 legs to eat. She makes me laugh.
My other horse is more like a labrador. He would rather spend all day with his head in your arms, getting kisses and cuddles.

One time, I was walking down a narrow dirt path, the dam on one side and bush on the other. I had my horse on his lead rope and his girlfriend was following right behind. All of a sudden he stopped. He started snorting and getting antsy. He was starting to jump around a bit. I told him to quit it and tried to get him to walk on. He wouldn't, and he kept carrying on. So I lengthened the rope and went ahead, hoping he would follow. It was only then that I found a big brown snake, curled up in the middle of the path. He could obviously sense something was there before I even saw.

What a good boy! Browns are deadly over here. It was just a struggle to get him to back out, because his girlfriend was up his butt and I didn't have her on a lead, but she eventually got the picture, and we backed out and went a different way.

One time I had stubbed my little toe and broke it. Wasn't really sure about the breaking part, but I couldn't move it and it hurt horribly. My great dane must have sensed this because she stepped on it. After peeling myself off the ceiling, I realized it no longer hurt. She snapped it back into place.

Later, when I had my foot xrayed for some other reason, the doctor showed me that it had been fractured and healed. I credit it all to Zoe. :inlove:

I have a red mini Dachshund. And when I first come down in the morning or at anytime that I leave and come back she likes to greet me with a toy or a chew. She wags her tail and throws her head around showing off said chew or toy as if to say "LOOK LOOK! LOOK WHAT I HAVE! ISN'T IT AWESOME!?" And she runs around me and in circles because she's so happy she doesn't know what to do with herself :roflmao:

My border collie mix, Tess, CIMG0173.webp is afraid of storms and, apparently the fire detector. Lately, we had something burning in the bottom of the stove that, even after trying to clean out, would smoke. The other night, my son was making a pizza and it started smoking in the kitchen. Just a little. She came and hid by me. I was thinking, I didn't hear any thunder. Then my son came up and I told him she was acting strange. He called her over and she cautiously went. He told her the alarm wouldn't go off. Then it did. She ran over by me and tried to fit under a narrow table I have by the couch. Of course that didn't work well and my glass of wine flew into my lap and my water was almost knocked over.

My little dog wasn't even phased by this. She is the pup in that picture above.

I just told my pup to go look out the window for my boys. First she went to the side window and watched out. Then she came back to look at me. I told her to keep watching out the window and she went to the front window. She sat there watching until their bus pulled up and they stepped out. Then she was barking happy! She did something similar to this once before. I didn't even teach her this. :D
