I wouldn't be super worried about celexa I was taking it for a few years and it's really mild. It's similar to zoloft if that helps? I'd be more concerned that it could be to mild for you. Have you taken any anxiety/depression meds before? I'd say out of the few different meds I've been prescribed celexa had really no side effects that I ever noticed. However everyone is different and it could effect you differently. The most common side effects according to google are:
  • drowsiness, dizziness, weakness;
  • anxiety, feeling shaky, sleep problems (insomnia);
  • vision changes;
  • nausea, loss of appetite, diarrhea, constipation;
  • dry mouth, yawning;
  • cold symptoms such as stuffy nose, sneezing, sore throat, cough;
  • increased sweating;
  • changes in weight Anyways, I hope this helps and if you have any other questions about it feel free to ask. *hugs* -Carolyn

Greetings

First time dipping my toe into this field, I drive 300 miles a night on a 2 lane road, I see lots of critters just off the road.

I hit a deer two weeks ago, it was awful, and that event pushed me over the edge where meds are concerned.

The scope of my job requires being on the road no matter what the weather is, blizzard's included.

I hope you are right, I pick up the script today and asked for a pharmacy consult.

That is a damn intense job man good for you for real being able to do something like that. I'm sorry you hit a deer though :( that pushes a lot of people off the edge. I'm glad you are physically ok or well atleast alive though deer accidents are messed up. I live up in New Hampshire and it's super common here. Have you tried the new meds yet? I'm sorry it took me so long to reply I've just been a mess the last few days with the holiday bummer factor.

No not yet, waiting till I have some off time.

And yes the replay mode in my noggin is working fine especially where it happened.

I lived in MA for 20 years so I know your area is ripe for this.

This event did push me to explore meds.

Greetings and OK

Since my work schedule is fragmented, can I take a half dose when transitioning from nights to day or the other way around?

Just wondering....

Been almost a month, called in a refill.
The biggest thing is when I've had a super stress trip when I try to go to sleep, I twich, small, medium, and whole leg arm movement, and makes it difficult to fall asleep.

And no more just poping out of bed, it is now a 15 minute process from when the alarm goes off the actually being upright.
