Usergroup Permission Changes

Some will notice that there are things missing from their abilities, and premium members may notice new features having appeared.

This is due to recent changes I have made, which are all done with the intention to give members the minimal features for posting here, and those who want more, then they move to account upgrades instead.

Once I'm finished, I will list the full changes here and update the account upgrades page.

The obvious to the below list, is that standard registered members do not have the following permissions / a lower level of such permissions (correct as at 10 Jan 2017:

• full tagging management of own threads, profile, media, etc.
• watch tags
• view tag users
• edit tag wiki
• custom user title
• bypass all anti-spam
  
• no flood check (no time limit between posting)
• send to moderation queue any post reported
• bookmark content
• can be invisible to members
• use predefined content replies
• edit & soft delete for 7 days (excl. first post which makes thread)
• edit own thread title for 7 days
• upload attachments (posts and PC)
• post anonymously
• reply ban users in own threads (excl. staff) - Yes, you can now ban members from posting on your threads.
• unlimited edit and delete for PC's, profiles
• profile management
• PC autoresponder
• PC filters
• PC prefix
• PC kick control
• PC view last read date
• 100 character signature
• bypass Adblock
• no advertisements (excl. internal features)
• move media
• media albums with full control (edit, delete, view permissions, etc)
• full media controls (edit, delete, flip, rotate, etc)
• watermark images
• sidebar collapse
• style color control and presets
• feature thread by self, unfeature, edit feature thread
• covers for threads, profiles, albums and full management
• chat edit and delete
• chat archive with search
• chat extended features
• chat premium room

I think that having been here for 6 years... the "announcement" is in a style and manner that I'm not really sure what the point of "unlocking" it was even for, frankly. But I'm just a poster... so it's not Burger King.

As per @joeylittle stated, to take questions, comments, once I had all the information posted, and not before. People had read the initial post, liked it, hence why I added a new post stating such. If that's ok with you and all @The Albatross?

Question. If you are banned by the thread creator does it look the same as a thread ban by staff or is the another message that appears?

Not that it really matters I suppose. Thread banned is thread banned but was just wondering.

To me, I guess it makes a difference in my head of 'did something wrong' as opposed to 'made someone upset' I guess.

Any notice would look the same, though that depends whether the person chooses to let the person know they're thread banned.

It solves the issue for premium members who have disgruntled persons posting on their threads, and cannot control things. This places more control in the thread starters hands, providing they're premium.

Ignore does so much... but some want to limit others who they have issues with posting upon their diaries, is one example.

Just a question if you are already a premium member do you have privilege to thread ban member or do you have to upgrade?

And how do you thread ban member?
