Tough week or so. Very sad day. Bella my canine and best friend pal suddenly started health issues (12-13 yrs old). First vet not sure why she wasn't eating and vomiting end of last week. Second vet seen today - renal failure. She started to get lame hind end, off her feed, vomit, tired, depressed.

Went to vet at 1 today and blood work done, they got fast 20 min results - ….. would be hell on her for treatment to extend for a few months. Held my best friend in my arms and eye to eye confirmed all the love and good time we shared. My angel will always we with me. RIP Sweet Bella.

It was so sudden. Between overwhelm and shock. It is not real yet, and then slam so real. Roller coaster and lonely.

So sorry to hear that! That's similar to what happened with Winnie, my English Bulldog about a year ago. They leave a big hole when they leave, for sure. You did the right thing, hard as it is to do.

Wishing you peace. And hoping that another four legged friend shows up, to fill it's own spot in your heart.

I am So sorry. We love them so much and the relationship is very unique and special. Loving her enough to let her go.
What I had to do for my 24yr old cat. We send a piece of ourself over that Rainbow Bridge.
Hurting for and with you.
Gentle hugs if you accept.

So sorry for your loss. Our furbabies are our family and sometimes the closest friends we could ever hope for. Your choice not to keep her in pain was the right one, as much as it hurts right now.

I hope your grief transforms into a permanent paw print in your heart to carry with you. <3
