Death My Sister Died Last Night

My sister who was very supporting of me and my problems died last night. I am sort of numb from it right now.

I am so sorry for your loss. It's normal to feel numb. I have a weird problem where I can't seem to feel anything but numb about deaths; I think maybe my brain just can't comprehend the whole concept. But I have never lost someone who was as much of a support to me as it sounds like your sister was to you, so I can't even imagine what you must be going through.

This was certainly a shock to you, whether you knew it was coming or not. When emotions are truly overwhelming, sometimes they get buried because they're just too intense for us to feel at first. My advice would be to surround yourself with other supportive people, and to try to express yourself both verbally and perhaps by journaling or using art.

Remember that this may take some time to get over, but it will get better. :hug:

I am so sorry. I just lost my dad in December. I think it's pretty normal to not feel anything at first because you're in shock. My heart goes out to you. <3<3<3

I'm sorry. I know how it feels. In April it will be the second anniversary of my sisters death. Please take care of yourself and give yourself lots of room to grieve.
