Does increasing Zoloft dosage give you nightmares? I increased my dosage from 75mg to 100mg in the last week and have been getting nightmares ever since. I wake up every morning groggy and agitated.

Appreciate a response from anyone who's been through a similar situation.
:meh:

they started me on 25mg zoloft and when I complained of awful symptoms, they increased the dosage. When that happened, symptoms got worse. Needless to say I stopped that shit.

*depending how long you've been taking it, make sure to wean yourself off if you choose to stop taking it. Or better yet, consult a doctor.

I have to take my Zoloft first thing in the morning because when I took it at night I couldn't sleep. I usually take it before breakfast, but it I wake up early in the morning with anxiety from a nightmare, I will take it then and be able to go back to sleep for an hour or two.

I didn't last long on Zoloft. On the third night of taking it, I had a psychedelic dream and my doctor said that was enough and took me off of it. I'm about to try Prazosin, a medicine that's supposed to control how your body reacts to adrenaline thereby lessening nightmares.

Prasozine has been great for me. I’ve been on it a little over a year now, and it definitely helps me with nightmares. It can cause some prolonged dizziness and day time fatigue until you get used to it or dial in the dosage. Ask for 1mg capsules so you can adjust if you need to. My doc recommend that and it’s worked out well. I take 1mg at least, 2 on weekends or if I’m stressed and starting to see a rise in nightmares, and 3 when shit hits the fan. Having some flexibility has been beneficial and helped to keep my chain off my back about sleeping in or nodding off on duty.

Cannabis works with no craappy side effects like antidepressants

Antidepressants would have pushed me to suicide a long time ago. Get off that poison now.
