Used to like lime marmalade with crunchy peanut butter in a wholemeal toast sandwich.

I want to know why every movie I've seen that's a story from the USA has drip coffee in it? In glass flasks too?

Like do you people even know about coffee machines? Ground, roasted coffee? Instant coffee? Tea...anyone?

Lol. Well it's because I tried PB and jam - and it were too sweet for me so I tried marmalade instead and it hit the spot! Sweet sour, salty n texture. Reckon a bit of chilli would be nice too :D

Instant coffee is horrible and only people who are truly desperate for coffee will drink that stuff here.

Am I the only person who has never tried marmite or vegemite?! Cant stand the look or smell of marmite - I don’t trust it one bit! ?

How do you identify British people on holiday??

My partner and I spend half our time abroad cringing and saying, ‘Ooh...she looks so English!’
We also assume that we do too, despite really not wanting to!

We have our own thoughts on why this is but I’d be intrigued to know what others here think.

No idea, but it works in a surprising number of recipes.

Here in Canada? Sometimes.
Ground was popular for ages here, now pods have taken over the coffee aisles.

As @somerandomguy stated, instant here has more in common with a chemical warfare delivery system than a caffeine delivery system.

@berlinda have you tried spreading a bit of condensed milk on some bread or toast? I'm quite fond of that. Condensed milk sandwiches, too good.

My Dad loved the stuff, ate it with a spoon.

I can't stand it tho, just too sweet for me. Different strokes eh. :)

Brits abroad - my Dad wore socks and sandals. I think that gave it away :P
