no the stupid moderator changed it all!!!! i thought i could open up n be honest!!! but no they had to ruin it!!!

((Sam)), you can open up and be honest. Putting things in paragraphs does help with the reading. I for one really struggle if there are no gaps. My PTSD brain .

The Mods do a great job at protecting us, ensuring things are easy to read and watching out for our safety. Sorry but they are not stupid.

It was nice talking to you yesterday.
Take care

The Forum has grammar rules for readability, as PTSD can causes cognitive difficulties. It helps the reader better understand what is written, and the writer to sort their thoughts and convey them in a structured manner. It is not a personal attack upon anyone and content is not altered when editing is done.

However, derogatory comments directed at any member or staff are considered a personal attack and are NOT acceptable. As a result the member has been banned for 24 hours to cool off and reflect.

We are here to help each other, and not to attack each other or make anyone's life more difficult than it already is.

I feel stuck between a rock and a hard place.

I really feel for her, but agree, personal attacks are not acceptable.

I do hope she will return, there is so much here that could help.

Hey Samantha.
There must be some set of forms that you need to get your doc to fill out to get access to treatment? The insurance company is not on your side, (ive learned this the hard way). Yeah, it's not about getting money (like a lump sum) cause you were in an accident, as much as it is getting them to pay for treatment for injuries caused by the car accident.

like, if you sprained your ankle, you get to physio, they pay.
if you have driving phobia, (or just issues being in a car, weird things, sitting in a certain seat, etc) then you see a counsellor, and they pay.

Unfortunately psych injuries are invisible. that's what makes them so hard to deal with sometimes....

Same thing... (if you see where Im going with this). you were perfectly happy sitting in a car and driving in a car before the accident, you owe it to yourself to get back to that point.

I was in a head-on collision, over a year ago, and still recovering. so i know its a long road... hugs

Samantha Francis I am so sorry for what you've been through and are going through.

Hope you will come back, we all feel that way- part of it is (or can be) ptsd-related.
But you will see, it will be ok- better, even- if you don't run and return.

Best wishes to you whatever you feel is right for you to choose.

Sam... I would strongly advise you to read this forums rules and policies before proceeding, because I will tell you with no uncertainty, if I got to this first, you would be banned already for the reasons stated above.

You control you, nobody else... so please do so when upon this forum, or you won't be on this forum any longer.
