Last night was very windy. Up to 90 mile an hour gusts at one point across West Yorkshire.

Roof's blow off, wheelie bins gone missing for ever, had to search for mine as soon as it got light. :roflmao:

Hoping it will die down before we set off, hubby hates wind. I hate his wind too. ;)

Weather last night and this morning were shocking, strong winds with lots of rain a bad storm. It is a lot calmer now and I can see some blue sky. It's a miracle.. :eek:

I think the weather has PTSD too. It's confused and doesn't know what season it is, or which part of the world it's in. Therefore doesn't know know how to react. Probably needs therapy to get it back on track. :confused:

Our local news report this morning just read a list of roads which are blocked because of fallen trees etc - it may have been easier to list which roads aren't blocked.

I need to drive through Ironbridge this afternoon and will be prepared for a diversion due to the River Severn flooding.

Same here, I was scared lying in bed, the wind was so violent.

Our is still there, it will be emptied this morning. I too, expect to play hunt the wheelie bin when I get home, although my neighbour is very sweet and if he is at home he will retrieve it for me.

Hoping it will die down before we set off, hubby hates wind.

Just after 2pm now and all the frost has finally melted. A bit overcast still, but a touch of blue just beginning to poke through.

Then the sun sets again just after 4 pm, better make the most of it then. :D

Mid to low 20'sF to mid 60's afternoons. I'm really looking fwd to spring as I sleep outside in an old U-Haul truck at night, and go inside during the day to stay on the computer.

It is wicked cold outside but nice and sunny. A good day for a fire in the wood stove, curtains open to let in sunshine, wrap in a blanket and watch football. (a.k.a. nap with the game on).
